Job Title: Group Facilitation Specialist (PRP)

Position Overview
Anchortees Health Inc. is seeking a dynamic and engaging Group Facilitation Specialist to lead structured group sessions within our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). This role focuses on delivering skill-based, recovery-oriented group interventions that support individuals with mental health challenges in achieving greater independence and community integration.
The ideal candidate is confident in leading groups, skilled in managing diverse personalities, and committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and facilitate structured group sessions aligned with PRP goals and Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
- Lead groups focused on coping skills, life skills, social development, and psychoeducation
- Foster positive group dynamics, participation, and peer engagement
- Monitor and manage group behavior, ensuring a safe and respectful environment
- Document group sessions accurately in compliance with Medicaid/DMAS standards
- Track participant progress and communicate updates to the care team
- Collaborate with PRP staff, QMHPs, and case managers
- Adapt group content to meet the needs of varying cognitive and emotional levels
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred
- Experience in group facilitation, counseling, or behavioral health services strongly preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented models
- Strong communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to engage and motivate diverse populations
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass background check and meet state compliance requirements
Preferred Skills
- Experience with trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
- Familiarity with Virginia PRP/DMAS documentation requirements
- Creative approach to group engagement (activities, discussions, curriculum development)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
