Emergency Stay

The Emergency Stay program is designed to:

  • Provide immediate shelter for individuals in crisis or unsafe living conditions
  • Reduce the risk of harm, hospitalization, or further homelessness
  • Offer a calm, supportive environment for emotional and behavioral stabilization
  • Connect individuals to mental‑health services, benefits, and long‑term housing options
  • Serve as a bridge to ongoing recovery programs, including PRP and supportive housing

 Residents receive:

  • A clean, stable, and supervised living environment
  • Availability for support, security and safety
  • Assistance with daily routines and personal care needs

Mental Health Recovery Support

While Anchor Healing Homes is not a clinical treatment facility, we provide:

  • Coordination with therapists, psychiatrists, and case managers
  • Support with medication routines (reminders, monitoring, coordination)
  • Emotional support and crisis‑prevention strategies

Independent Living Skills Training

Residents receive hands‑on support with:

  • Hygiene and self‑care
  • Meal preparation and nutrition
  • Budgeting and money management
  • Household responsibilities
  • Time management and organization

Case Management & Resource Navigation

Staff assist residents with:

  • Applying for benefits (SSI/SSDI, SNAP, Medicaid)
  • Securing long‑term housing
  • Connecting to outpatient mental‑health services
  • Accessing medical care and social‑service programs
